Overview

The DX8401 radiant heat flux test apparatus evaluates the burning behaviour of horizontally mounted flooring materials that are ignited by a small pilot flame and exposed to an inclined radiant heat field. It reproduces the radiant heat source method specified in GB/T 11785-2005 and ISO 9239-1, so laboratories can compare flame spread, critical heat flux and smoke development of floor coverings under controlled conditions. Test results reflect the complete flooring system, including backing material, subfloor and coating layers.

System Configuration

• Two independent sections: burning chamber and control cabinet
• Imported heat flux meter for radiant flux measurement, nine point flux verification across the specimen
• Stepless speed regulation of the exhaust fan with strong ventilation to discharge flue gas outdoors after each test
• Cooling water circuit operating between 15 °C and 25 °C
• Pilot burner manufactured in house from 304 stainless steel, fully compliant with GB/T 11785
• Other mechanical parts in 304 stainless steel or thickened plated steel for corrosion resistance

Scope of Supply and Service

Each unit is assembled, wired and calibrated before shipment, then packed in an export wooden case. Commissioning guidance, operation manual and spare part support are provided. OEM labelling and on site installation service are available on request.
