Testing principle
Place the sample in a 30-kw diffusion flame. The combustion gas is collected by the exhaust hood for analysis. Through gas analysis, the heat release rate of the sample can be calculated based on the depletion of oxygen.
The generation of smoke is evaluated by measuring the attenuation of the light beam caused by smoke in the exhaust pipe. Observe the combustion behavior of the sample to understand the spread of the flame and the appearance of combustion particles and droplets.
1, Applicable scope:
The method used to determine the fire response performance of building materials or products (excluding paving materials and products specified in EC Resolution 2000/147/EC) in a single unit combustion test (SBI).
2, Compliant with standards:
Complies with the requirements of GB/T 20284-2006 standard "Single Body Combustion Test for Building Materials or Products" and EN13823 "Single Body Combustion Test Method (SBI)" test standards.
3, Performance parameters:
The equipment includes a combustion test room, a control room, a small cart, smoke exhaust pipes, a data collection and analysis device, and a gas supply control device.
Test report
The report contains information about the test samples and test results. The list of test results is as follows
●Figra, the fire growth rate calculated based on the heat released throughout the exposure period [watts per second].
●THR, the total heat released during the assessment period [megajoules].
●TSP, the total smoke production during the assessment period [m2].
●SMOGRA, smoke growth rate based on smoke production volume [m2/s2].
●LFS, has the lateral flame spread to the end of the long wing been observed
● Have any burning droplets been observed
The test report also includes illustrations of the subject measurements during the test process, as well as pictures of the test samples before and after the test.
