Operating Instructions
1. Preparation Before Test: Place the device on a stable, heat-resistant workbench, connect the gas source and power supply correctly, check for air leakage, and ensure the exhaust system is functioning normally.
2. Sample Preparation: Cut the wood sample to standard dimensions, keep its surface clean and dry, and record material information such as wood type, thickness, and flame retardant treatment method.
3. Sample Installation: Fix the sample firmly on the dedicated holder, adjust its position to ensure the flame acts vertically on the specified test area accurately.
4. Parameter Setting: Set target flame temperature, test duration, flame height, and other parameters through the control panel according to standard requirements.
5. Ignition & Testing: Ignite the burner, preheat to the set temperature, start the timing system, and apply the flame to the sample surface as required. Observe and record combustion phenomena in real time.
6. Data Recording: After the test, automatically record or manually document carbonization length, ignition time, flame spread speed, afterflame time, and smoldering time.
7. Post-Test Operation: Extinguish the flame naturally, turn off the gas source and power supply, cool the device completely, clean the combustion chamber and test area, and remove residual samples.
