The DX8315A is a dedicated ultraviolet ageing cabinet built for durability testing of laminated safety glass. It reproduces the combined effect of solar ultraviolet radiation and elevated surface temperature, so yellowing, delamination, blistering and light transmission loss can be evaluated in weeks instead of years of outdoor exposure.
Sixteen 300 W OSRAM Ultra-Vitalux lamps form a uniform radiation field above the sample rack. The specimen surface is held at 45 °C ± 5 °C while total irradiation on the glass reaches 900 W/m² ± 100 W/m², with more than 500 mm between lamp plane and sample to avoid hot spots. Nine laminated glass panels can be tested in one 2000 hour cycle, and a built-in radiometer plus 9-channel thermocouple recorder log irradiation and temperature continuously.

Architectural laminated glass, automotive laminated windscreens, balcony and curtain wall panels, bullet resistant and acoustic laminated glass, interlayer film development and incoming inspection laboratories.
Sixteen lamps and a 500 mm working distance give a wider, flatter radiation field than compact bench cabinets, so a full production batch can be screened in one run. Detachable lamp bank and side access door keep lamp replacement and sample loading straightforward, and the whole unit ships in an export wooden case with commissioning support.
Send us your laminated glass size and target standard, and our engineers will confirm the configuration, lead time and quotation within one working day.
