Product introduction:

The flame propagation tester is developed and manufactured in accordance with the ISO5658-2 standard, and meets the relevant requirements of IMO FTP Code Resolution A. 653(16) and ASTM E 1317. Used to determine the lateral flame propagation performance of a building product, the flame propagation performance/the flame spread speed can evaluate the fire-retardant properties of the material.

The device radiates heat through the gas radiant panel and uses the imported heat flow meter to calibrate the radiant heat and ignite the sample through the mixed gas burner to test the burning of the material under certain radiant heat conditions; the sample is exposed to the region where the radiant flux is clearly demarcated. Inside, measure ignition time, flame spread, and final extinguishing time. The test sample was placed in a vertical position, close to the radiant panel, and exposed to a clearly demarcated radiant flux. The pilot flame approaches the test sample but does not contact the test sample. The heated end of the sample is ignited by vaporized gas on the surface.

After ignition, record the development of the flame front and record the time that the flame front burns on the surface of the sample in the horizontal direction to reach each calibrated distance. Then test the material including ignition heat, continuous combustion heat, critical flow, continuous burning average heat, total heat release and other related parameters.

Structural characteristics:

3.1. Cabinet made of stainless steel, beautiful and corrosion-resistant; easy to clean; main frame: consists of two independent parts of the burner frame and sample support frame. The two parts are bolted together and bolted for flexible mechanical adjustment.

3.7. Observation Mirror: Equipped with an adjustable viewing angle (750mm x 120mm), the glass mirror and the sample can be used during the test to observe the flame propagation rate and can be automatically recorded through the foot switch.

3.8, sample clip size: length 808mm, width 250mm. Made of thick (3±0.2)mm stainless steel plate;

3.9, sample chimney, one, made of 0.5±0.05mm thick stainless steel sheet, equipped with gas and chimney metal compensation thermocouple.

3.10. Calibration plate: Long (795±1) mm, width mm, thick (25±2) mm noncombustible plate, drying density (950±100) kg/m3. There are 8 holes with a diameter of 25mm and a hole distance of 100mm ± 1mm;

Fourth, thermal radiation system:

4.1, Radiant Panel Temperature Controller: Prevents the flame from turning to the rear side of the radiator plate, checking the internal temperature of the radiator plate, and automatically shutting off the gas solenoid valve in the event of a flame reversal.

4.2. The heat flux applied by the radiant plate to the test piece was decreased along the long side of the test piece. The starting point was 50 KW/m2 and the end was 1.5 kW/m2.

4.3. The United States imports the MEDTHERM Schmidt-Boelter thermopile heat flow meter with a measurement range of 80 kW/m2 and a water-cooled heat flow meter. Larger nonlinearity ± 2%; repeatability ± 0.5%;

4.4, gas supply: equipped with pressure reducing valve, zero pressure valve, tempering valve, solenoid valve and mixer, the mixed air and gas to the radiation board.

4.5. Provide a multi-hole calibration plate and a sliding heat flow meter to detect whether the heat radiation flux meets the standard requirements;

Control system:

5.1, ignition source flame length 230 ± 20mm, propane flow 0.4L / s, air flow 1.0L / min;

5.2, radiation source gas flow: gas can be methane, natural gas, propane, flow ≥ 1.0L / s, flow control system in 0.5L / s ~ 1.5L / s error does not exceed 1%;

5.3, air flow ≥ 9.0L / s, flow control system in the 5L / s ~ 15L / s error does not exceed 1%, the air pipe contains a filter;

5.4, ​​imported brand pressure regulators and pressure gauges to accurately control the gas pressure;

5.5. Safety explosion-proof in all radiant panel combustion control systems, check valves, and solenoid valves to prevent gas backflow;

5.6. The camera can observe and save the test process status in a program;

The 5.7 and 19” analysis racks can measure flame spread rate, critical flow rate, and heat release rate.

5.8, data acquisition system can store flame extension and combustion characteristics of the image;

5.9, radiation board burner system is fully automated, with spark ignition and safety lock, all control systems are explosion-proof;

5.10, IMO program makes all calibrations, tests, test results printed (IMO, ISO) easier (optional);

5.11 Standard control cabinets, computer + Labview intelligent control system; the interface is more friendly and the test is more intelligent.
